WHO IS THE CLIENT

Edge Hospitality is a wedding/corporate venue management/ownership/caterer. Edge owns and operates 3 full-service venues across the western GTA region, Paletta Mansion, Oakville Conference Centre, and Lasalle Banquet Centre, and a recently launched catering wing, FOSL.


CLIENT DIRECTION

Edge has brought a plethora of unique responsibilities to Insert marketings team.  Most importantly, their main goal was to get calls to action and marketing into the minds of potential clients in the most direct way possible. In addition to the aforementioned, a major priority of theirs was to create an ongoing digital identity across Google, Facebook, and Instagram that is contemporary and up to date with recent standards.


WHAT WE DID FOR THEM

WEBSITE:

Insert Marketing introduced Edge Hospitality to a new website format, an extension to their traditional booking regime. MyWeddingEdge.ca brings together an interchanging platform for booking weddings and self planing. MyWeddingEdge.ca instantly asks visitors to fill out a survey of preferences. Once completed, the visual style of the website skin and layout changes to fit the preferences of that individual.

Additionally, Insert Marketing recently brought blogging to the forefront of Edge’s selling season. Using a catchy “clickbait” format for writing, we’ve been publishing monthly topical wedding blogs to www.edgehospitality.ca; using topics such as “2019’s Top Honeymoon Destinations.”


SOCIAL MEDIA:

Over the course of our contract, Insert Marketing has taken a more dedicated approach to interacting with Edge Hospitality guests over social media and increasing engagement on all platforms. Rather than using proprietary images or stock photos, nearly all digital marketing assets are credited photos submitted by guests, professional photographers, or visitors to Paletta Mansion, Oakville Conference Centre and Lasalle Banquet Centre.

TRADE SHOW PACKAGE:

Edge Hospitality acknowledged a problem that had been encountered on site at bridal shows. We assisted in the development of a print package as a takeaway. Edge had previously printed their packages for $8 each. We created a modern and sleek package that could be easily identified as premium and it only cost $2 per copy.

TRADE SHOW STATIONARY:

Insert Marketing designed multiple stationary components for Edge Hospitality’s booths at trade shows. Folders with a sleek and modern design inclusive with a foil logo, 8.5x11 inserts, and 5x7 postcards show off each venue respectively in a varying degree of detail.


VIP PACKAGE - CORPORATE CLIENT PACKAGE:

Insert Marketing developed a hand delivered box, that included a mug, and metal VIP card that was individualized per client. This custom invitation was used to encourage past clients to a special “VIP Rewards Program” on behalf of Edge.


BUSINESS CARDS:

We designed two sets of business cards for Edge Hospitality staff. A general style was developed on a sleek 18pt card, while a management card was printed on a thick 32pt matte foil stock.


COPYWRITING METRICS

The majority of our copy ideation revolved around creating both a female voice and researching dialogue from successful bridal influencers. Over 70% of Edge’s digital marketing audience are women, and creating copy that speaks directly to that audience was vital to harnessing engagement.
